Where's the best place to start?

Absolutely, without a doubt, Soft Temple and SoulNest are gentle introductions to our Community. Each Soft Temple is designed to Welcome new people and create space to talk about Temple. Soft Temple rituals are centered around getting to know one another in a heart-centered way and there's plenty of space to ask questions to people who've attended Euphoric or Dark Temples if you're interested in them. 

Is Euphoric Temple a Play Party?

No. Temple, even Euphoric, is not about sex. With that said, sexual expression and how it contributes to our capacity to feel life moving through us, is a human experience we want to call in, celebrate and utilize in our transmission of love, so we create space for erotic energy to flow if it's called for.

Is Temple gender balanced?

No.

I'd like to come, but I'm monogamous. What does that look like?

There is no sexual intimacy permitted in the Soft Temple space, so you're golden there. In terms of Euphoric Temples, rituals are created where you can journey solo and at your comfort level. Any partners who join, are welcome to do ritual together and merge into the open field in whatever ways feel aligned. Speak your boundaries at opening circle, or at any point throughout the evening, and they will be whole-heartedly celebrated and honoured. We have monogamous folk who join for Euphoric Temple and only connect with people on non-sexual levels, but enjoy the vibration of the space and nurture it with their own powerful energy.

Where is Temple?

Just outside of Carleton Place. We built an intentional Temple space in our home. 

Can I invite people?

Yes, and run it by me first. Each person is selected specifically because I know they can maintain the integrity of Temple. If you haven’t been to a Temple before, connect with me and I’ll be happy to tell you all about it. All temples are completely different based on the people and energies present. The general theme of Soft, Euphoric and Dark apply, but you just never know how things will play out. Surrender to the mystery and trust in the universe.

What happens at Temple?

It depends on a few things, like what kind of Temple it is (soft, euphoric or dark) and who is present and how they're feeling in the moment. The descriptions of what types of energy are permitted and encouraged in the space are in the descriptions of each Temple type. I don't explicitly and publicly share what happens at Temple for a few reasons. The first being, we trust what wants to emerge from the mystery and we wish it to remain a mystery. Secondly, confidentiality is essential and important and I don't want to speak of specific temples, in case someone knows someone who attended and assumes they partook in the rituals or experiences, then decides to share it with other people, and rumours spread like wild fire. In terms of Euphoric Temple, someone could hear something about sexual expression and concoct all kinds of stories about what the experience was, without having even been there, seen it or felt it. The is a huge difference between a Temple and a sex club, and many people can't wrap their head around sexuality being sacred, which results in an abundance of shaming and judgement. Then there's the rituals I pour my heart and soul into that I'd like to stay within the Temple walls. If you need this question to be answered, come to a Community Dinner, feel the field and decide whether you're up for an adventure anchored in love and expansion with the fabulous folk in our tribe.

What should I wear to Temple?

It depends on the Temple. Wear ultra comfy clothes you can easily move in for Soft Temple. With Euphoric Temple, you're encouraged to spice it up a few notches and wear something that makes you feel sexy. Lingerie, playwear, sexy pajamas, leather, lace, you name it. Layers are always great for any Temple. For Dark Temples and Kink Lab, dark clothes you can move in with nice panties is perfect.

What should I bring to Temple?

- pillows, cushions, a soft mat (we may or may not need them, depending on numbers)

- a water bottle with a lid

- a sarong or towel if you intend to be nude

- toys or tools you wish to play with

- an intention, an open mind and an open heart

How do you keep the space "safe enough"?

First of all, everyone who comes to Temple is either personally invited by me or someone trusted in the Temple community, or I have a conversation with them to feel out their intentions and energy, so we don't have shadowy predators in the space. Second, the people who are drawn to Temple are heart-centered, open-minded, generous people who want to make the world a better place through their presence. You'd think there would be some creepy people trying to make their way in, but it's really quite rare. The third piece of the puzzle is ensuring everyone in the container is sovereign and can clearly speak their "no". Someone asked me, "what about people with sexual trauma who always get into freeze or appease and can't say 'no'?" and my response was, "Euphoric and Dark Temples aren't for them at this point in their journey." We have plenty of other workshops and offerings for people to heal and transform, and Temple is the space you join when you've found enough of that inner power to keep yourself safe. It's also a fabulous time to explore your newfound expression. 

With all of that said, we are human and the Temple Team is here to support and create safety, so we encourage everyone to seek us out if outside guidance is needed. We're all here learning together.
